Business Development Professional

• Generate new business by establishing, developing and maintaining business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment
• Create a continuous sales funnel
• Update CRM System records of all prospects, following corporate policy and procedure
• Uphold a personal leadership standard of continued improvement and personal development
• Focus on development of new clients
• Spend 75% of your time on prospecting calls
• Make calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers
• Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations
• Expedite the satisfactory resolution of customer problems
• Create and manage a customer value plan for existing customers
• Collect from accounts outside of assigned terms of payment
• Supply Management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
• Research and stay current with industry trends and product knowledge
• Participate in trade shows and conventions as requested
